Retail Search Optimization

A critical step in marketing your book is increasing the probability that it can be found by search engines. If a potential reader cannot remember the exact title of your book or searches on key words from the text, these programs will increase the chance that the search will return your book. Setting up your book in these programs is included in some of our publishing programs or can be added as individual services.

Amazon Search Inside!
This program allows customers on Amazon.com to find your book more readily because the entire text is indexed for searches, not just the title, author, and keywords. Readers can also view samples from the book, but the content is protected.

Google Book Search
Google will index the content of your book for inclusion in its search results. The results display the book’s title and author as well as a short excerpt containing the search item. Your content is protected and cannot be accessed, except as you allow.

Barnes & Noble See Inside
See Inside allows potential buyers on BarnesandNoble.com to read a small portion of your book to enhance the probability that they will purchase a copy. The text is also included in the search activity on the B&N site.
